I've loved games since I was a child and have played a variety of games, but in recent years I've become obsessed with a genre called RTS(Real Time Strategy) (Real Time Strategy).
What is RTS(Real Time Strategy)
It is an abbreviation for Real Time Strategy, and in a broad sense it includes city-building games that continue forever in real time (such as Clash of Clans), but
Competition...especially in e-Sports scenes,
This refers to a type of game where players who start the match at the same time are linked to real time and aim to reach the victory goal before their opponent (at which point the match ends).
To put it very roughly,
"The match will start with a "Ready, set, go!" and progress with each passing moment.
Grow faster and more efficiently than your opponent and defeat them."
That's the game.
Famous titles include the Age of Empires series and the StarCraft series.

What's interesting about RTS(Real Time Strategy)
It depends on the game title, but especially for those of us whose reflexes are getting slower,
I think RTS(Real Time Strategy) games strike a good balance between strategy and playing skill.
Simple shooting games are useless unless you have good control skills.
Top level players perform incredible moves.
While strategy is often important, the game itself requires quick reflexes and is characterized by a game of playing skill.
That's why many professionals are high school students.
On the other hand, each operation in RTS(Real Time Strategy) is not difficult.
When watching videos of professionals, you may think, "That's a very fast operation!", but each operation is just a series of "selections" using the mouse and keyboard,
It's not as delicate as FPS games, which require delicate mouse control.
Many of the professionals are in their 30s, and being quick to operate does not necessarily mean that you are a strong player.
What's more important is the strategic aspect - what strategy to use, what priorities to give, and how to make decisions on a case-by-case basis.
The strategy is supported by playing skills,
What's interesting is that no matter what game I play, there are always things I regret and think, "I should have done that!"
I also created a YouTube channel
I haven't been able to update it much recently, but I created a YouTube channel a few years ago and it has just under 900 subscribers.
RTS(Real Time Strategy) is still not very popular in Japan, so I thought there could be some value in disseminating information from overseas to the Japanese market, and that's what got me started.
